After an all-nighter, I hopped on my Xbox to kill some time before others in my house awoke. On my home screen, I saw an advert for anime, "Free with Gold", so it said. It installed Crackle, and opened to an anime, ready to stream. I wasn't interested in the anime it opened, but I decided to browse their library. I decided to watch something that caught my attention, Blue Exorcist. I write this as I watch the first episode. The anime is epic, with teenagers and demons, but that's not the point. How the service works is well. I just selected an episode or movie, watched an advert or two, and the show/movie began. All works quite well, and I can watch my show, but...

The quality isn't great, seems to be regular 480i/p. It's free, so I don't expect much, but it still lacks on my 1440x900 display. (I use Microsoft's VGA adapter to connect to a $5 monitor I got from Goodwill. It's nice, when things are fullHD.)

Advertisement breaks are frequent. Normally, Japanese anime shows have their episodes split into two parts, for a convenient commercial break in between. Crackle does their advertising american style, with frequent breaks every so often, usually after a plot hook, some gripper thing that makes you say "Dammit! Now what's going to happen to Rin?" Then again, this IS a free app and service, so again, I don't really have room to complain.

My only major flaw with this service is their lack of content. Their catalog is alright, they have some good shows, but it's nowhere near the size of comparable services, i.e. Hulu or Netflix. I'd love to stream that obscure anime called Fullmetal Alchemist, but they don't have it in their catalog. Oh, one thing I should note is that they DO have regular TV shows in their catalog, such as Dilbert and Seinfeld, but Anime dominates the TV show listing. The movie catalog is populous, with 178 items as of 23/3/14. Unfortunately, most of those are older movies, such as American Psycho or Insanitarium. There's also 8 different movies with Godzilla in the title.

All in all, I'd like to recommend Crackle. I have a feeling that if they can get more licenses to view more shows or movies, then this service could be incredible. It could even beat Netflix, if enough people putting in ad revenue started to use the service. Then again, will the public use this service? It's up to you.

For anyone that doesn't know of the line, Canon's PIXMA line of printers are some of the best I've used. They're very nice photo printers, comparatively cheap for printers, and have very in-depth features for a mere printer. It's certainly one hell of a printer. Setup is simple, and quality brilliant. I actually only have 1 downside with this printer, but I'll touch on all those once I get into the review. Which happens right now!

So first, where did I find this printer? Well, I found this at a neighbor's garage sale for $15. I managed to get it for only $7.50 though, since the man really wanted it gone. So I brought it home, to reveal that all the ink had dried up, so the printer was borderline useless until I bought more ink. Once that was in place, everything was great! The printer will print from USB with specific cameras, Infrared with specific cell phones (lolwut), and certain memory cards including Secure Digital (SD), Compact Flash, and many others. Of course it also prints from PC as well, otherwise what's the point?

Print speed is really nice. I haven't printed more than one sheet at a time, but the speed the sheet comes out at is very reasonably fast.

The quality it comes off with is great as well, of course. It has to be so for a photo printer. 4800dpi allows for very nice documents, and photos come off shop quality. Digital camera users will love this printer, you don't have to pay for a photoshop to do the work!

The printer's interface is very easy to use with the included D-pad. SD card printing works flawlessly, and you'll have your print in less than a minute.

Installing the printer is easy thanks to the included disk. Remember to use the disk; Windows Update doesn't have the right drivers that you'll need. There's also a utility to access files on the printer's card reader, so you don't have to buy a small, losable SD reader!

My only problem with this printer is something nobody can control; Ink Prices. Let's put this into perspective: A pen is ink contained in plastic. A cheap one costs 5 cents, a nice one maybe 20-50 cents. An ink cartridge is more ink contained in plastic, with maybe an LED and computer chip. Probably worth about $2-5, maybe $10. But a set of 4 cartridges for this printer costs $50 and up. That's not friendly at all. Canon, lower your ink prices. They aren't reasonable in the slightest.

So that's my review of the Canon Pixma iP6600D printer! If you can find one for cheap like I did, go ahead and get it! Thanks for reading!

So lately, Microsoft has started moving users to 8 (or 7) in place of XP, as it expires in April 2014. It shames me to say that I'm part of the problem. I still use XP. But I have an excuse.

My 7 installation is dead, and I need to do a clean install onto another hard drive.

I don't have another hard drive yet, but I will get one soon. Until then, I use XP.

It's actually reasonably fast, even playing Euro Truck Simulator very well. Maybe I can get some filming in of these games?

Keep watch of my channel and the website for more!

Greetings to the world! My name is hyprvx, formerly known as Sergi. I used to write for iluvgadgets77.com, however, after the site shut down for good, I had to venture out on my own. Camera, phone, and laptop in hand, I set out into the world. I came to Weebly, started my own site, and now I am here, on HyperiorReviews. I am one, and I write for the world! I prefer this site to ILG77 already, mainly for the ease of use and possible customizations I can do. Plus, this is my own site now, which gives me near total freedom and control. The future is large!

...But let's come back down to earth for now. Today, I am reviewing the Friendz portable speaker, by a company called Music Angel. I'd like to send a huuuge thank you to MobileFun.com , the website that provided me with the review sample for this review. Again, thanks so much. I cannot recommend this site enough. The prices are simply excellent, the products are always brilliant, and the speed of shipping is so fast you'll freak! Check them out after you've read this review and pick up this product for yourself, and take a look at other products on offer!

*Ahem.* Sorry about that. Let's look at the Friendz, shall we?

The main selling point for the speaker is the fact that you can daisy chain speakers along, giving you a possibility to extend your sound across a hallway, house, or classroom. You shouldn't need to do that for smaller rooms, though; as the speaker is very powerful. It's not going to be concert loud, but for someone who's just doing work on their computer or in the garden or something like that, it's absolutely perfect. The quality is amazing too, even at high volumes the speakers don't buzz and distort like several others. The bass isn't head-throbbingly huge, but it's not absent. Same for high tones: not ear-splittingly loud, instead it rounds out both very nicely. Everything from Pink Floyd to Zedd to Aphex Twin sounded amazing.

Build quality is above and beyond, it's a strong aluminum casing that can withstand numerous amounts of abuse. That strength doesn't even come at a price or beauty, the blue light below refracts very nicely, spreading a blue glow onto your surface the speaker rests on. Charging isn't even a problem, the speaker takes a simple 5 volts over standard Micro USB. Your phone's charger will charge this! What's really cool is that the USB port on the device will take audio and power simultaneously. The light underneath will also change colour; if the light is red, it is charging. If the light is purple, it is charging while turned on .The light will return to a blue/off state when the battery has charged fully.

Speaking of battery, how long will the battery last? The manual claims that the battery will last anywhere from 15 to 120 hours. That's a pretty wide range of time... However, I am currently testing this. When the battery dies (It's good practice to let the battery die before charging it, to avoid creating a battery memory.), I will recharge it fully, timing how long it takes. I will then run the speaker constantly until it dies again, timing again. I will update this section with my result. However, since arrival on the 18th, I've used the speaker almost constantly, and the battery has not died from its initial charge yet. (This is current as of July 24th.)

Disappointments are very few in number. There's no volume control on the device, so you will have to control it at the device or software. This shouldn't be too much of a problem, but it is still slightly annoying.

Final thoughts: This speaker is a very marvelous speaker for portable occasions, whether you're doing desk work at the office or just doing some gardening. Sound and design are amazing. The price is also very pleasing, you can find this speaker for $38 at MobileFun.com. Find it here!
